RANGE HOOD INSTALLATION Professional removal of old unit and installation of a new vented or ductless range hood. SERVICE DESCRIPTION: We provide precise and safe installation of your new range hood, focusing on secure mounting, proper electrical connection, and correct venting configuration (if applicable). SERVICE STEPS (TYPICAL INSTALLATION): 1. **Preparation:** Disconnect power at the breaker, protect the surrounding range and countertop areas. 2. **Removal:** Disconnect electrical wiring, remove the existing hood or fan. 3. **Ducting & Venting:** Inspect the existing ductwork. If a new external vent is required, measure and create the wall or cabinet penetration. Connect the hood to the ductwork securely. 4. **Mounting:** Securely mount the new unit to the wall or cabinetry, ensuring it is level and stable. 5. **Electrical:** Connect the unit to the existing power supply line and safely tuck wires. 6. **Finishing:** Install filters, test fan speeds, and verify all lighting functions. Seal any gaps around the unit/ducting to ensure proper function. PRICING STRUCTURE (TRANSPARENCY): Installation complexity is highly dependent on existing venting. This estimate is for labor only. * Minimum Service Fee: $175.00 – Covers our travel to you and the first 1.5 hours of labor. * Additional Time: If the job requires more than 1.5 hours (often needed for new venting/ducting), additional time is billed at $80/hr in 15-minute increments.
